Portugal

Portugal felt different from the moment I arrived. I spent Thanksgiving in Porto and the Douro Valley, where the weather turned grey and the rain settled in for most of the trip. Instead of taking away from the experience, it became part of what made the place feel so special. The fog rolled through the hills of the valley, the river moved slowly below the terraced vineyards, and the streets of Porto glistened under soft light reflecting off the colorful buildings. There was something quiet and atmospheric about it that made you slow down and take it all in.

With the camera, I leaned into that mood. The mist hanging over the Douro Valley, the texture of old stone streets in Porto, and the feeling of a city that carries centuries of history in every corner. Rainy days have a way of revealing a place differently, and Portugal felt deeper because of it. The photos and video here capture those moments, where the weather, the landscape, and the city came together to create something beautifully cinematic.
