Japan
Japan was one of the most visually striking places I’ve ever traveled. I spent my time between Tokyo, Kyoto, and Hakuba, each offering a completely different perspective of the country. Tokyo felt endless and electric, where every street seemed to reveal something new. Kyoto slowed everything down with quiet temples, narrow alleys, and moments of stillness that felt almost timeless. In Hakuba, the mountains took over, with deep snow, crisp air, and landscapes that felt peaceful and untouched.
Photographing Japan felt effortless because beauty exists in both the big scenes and the smallest details. Neon lights reflecting off rainy Tokyo streets, wooden architecture in Kyoto that has stood for centuries, and snow-covered mountains stretching across the horizon in Hakuba. Everywhere you look there is intention, design, and balance. The photos and video here capture a small glimpse of that contrast, from the energy of the cities to the quiet calm found in the mountains.
